PostSubject: Red Sea Regional Conflict   Red Sea Regional Conflict Icon_minitimeMon Sep 21, 2015 11:23 pm

Before this scenario can get too deep with weapons stockpiles, the UMEF audit must be fully cleared.

This is the theme I see unfolding.

An Islamic power discovers secret weapons stockpiles left behind by the disbanding UMEF (Rifles, Ammo, Artillery, missiles, RPG's, some SAM's).

They strike the Yemen government to install an Islamic ruled government, with aims to spread Islam to the rest of the word.

As a show of force, RSB captures a 747, and imprisons its crew.

GPEO Deploys a fleet to investigate, and positions near the coast of Yemen/Arabia border.

Two weeks after GPEO ships have been posted off the coast, the RSB attacks the fleet in an unprovoked attack. Naval ships conducted desperate rescues and limped away from the area, shooting at missiles with their phalanx systems. the GPEO Navy was caught by surprise. Two ships are confirmed sunk by missile attacks.

GPEO air power has yet to respond after two weeks due to inactive pilots, despite a carrier loaded with aircraft. This shows the RSB how weak the GPEO is, and boost their morale in ways unimaginable. Now, the RSB has full control over the regional airspace, able to exterminate anyone they deem unworthy of life, dictated by their beliefs.

(Now is the RSB Objectives)

How they will achieve this goal.

Kill off unbelievers:
Spread the RSB beliefs. Live like the old ways of living as it says in the Q-Ran. No need for power or technology, no music, and men must grow beards out, and women must be covered, and all must submit to Allah. All who believe otherwise are to be punished publicly. All atheists and gays are killed immediately. Anyone of another religious belief are subject to high taxes or exile, or to convert. Anyone we capture fighting against RSB, like Yemen government forces, are to be put on trial for swift execution. (Should give a chance for special ops to rescue them, if they are pilots or something. It will give special ops folks something to look forward to).

Capture the Airline:
As a means of acquiring a small income, RSB must capture airlines. RSB can chose to let the airline go after some time, indicating a ransom has been fulfilled. (A REASONABLE ransom, which RSQ could trade for aircraft. I am thinking under one million, or the amount in the RSQ account at the time of capture, if RSQ agrees to the ransom payment).

Don't feed the sick, feed our troops:
RSB will eventually get ballsy enough to attack civilian towns in parts of Africa they deem unworthy of life, like the starving populations. RSB feels it is better to just kill them off than to feed them. And the food going form Iran to Ethiopia could be used to feed RSB troops. (Basically, RSB makes random strike missions in sparse villages in parts of Africa in the main server, and marks the targets they attack on Google Earth. Most attacks would be rocket barrage. Death tolls would be determined by RSB's opposing side to make it legit (since RSB could never know the actual kills they inflict on the ground form their perspective). These targets on average might be cars, buses, hospitals, refugee camps and random civilian airport terminals. Targets should first be made on Google Earth, then made in a simulator flight plan of way point coordinates based on Google Earth locations, and in the simulator be flown to those very targets. Posting in the mainstream the targets on ITTN will work, then death toll can be worked out on the receiving side. They should be very realistic, deaths as well as injuries.

While RSB does these ops, in the open servers for all to see, it can count the many attacks and with proper Intel networking, behind the scenes, inform any opposition of a raid, but make it look like Intel found out somehow. So, either one of you could use your actual profile to inform someone, while keeping the RSB profile as the asshole profile acting like it is hot shit, lol.

RSB air ops could happen at any time. Even now. Strikes on civilian targets, with the reasons why. Being hardcore stubborn and silent when questioned. Reply with "Want me to stop, come make me."

So far, these are the details of the battle that took place along the coast of Yemen near the boarder of Arabia.

At 05:15 local time, 09/12/15, off the coast of Yemen near the border of Arabia, missiles rocketed into the Red Sea, striking at GPEO Frigates posted off the coast.

03:37 (GMT) - The first barrage nearly cracked the first ship, FFG-42 (USS Klakring), in half. The ship went down before it could transmit an alert to the other ships. 133 Souls form that ship were lost. The second barrage of missiles struck the second ship, FFG-52 (USS Carr), crippling it before it capsized and went under. 87 Souls went down with the USS Carr.

03:54 (GMT) The communications team of FFG-52 managed to get a message out to the other ships in time before it sunk, which alerted FFG-29 in time for it to activate its Phalanx System before a third barrage of missiles were detected. It shot down the third barrage of missiles which saved the ship from certain doom. It moved to regroup with the rest of the ships in the area to set up a defensive formation to where they could coordinate and destroy incoming missiles in order to safely rescue sailors from the sunken ships.

04:22 (GMT) The battle continued while the rescue took place. A third ship, FFG-29 (USS Stephen W. Groves), was hit by a missile, but did not sink. The damage was extensive to the port mid section, causing a fire. Several recently rescued crew members were in the missile impact zone. 24 Sailors died in that strike alone, 7 were members of her crew.

Losses:

FFG-42 USS Klakring = [148 lost of 185 = 37 Survivors]
Sailors = 133 (+15 during attack on rescue)
Aircraft = 2 SH-60's (contained in hanger)

FFG-52 USS Carr = [89 of 191 = 102 Survivors]
Sailors = 87 (+2 during attack on rescue)
Aircraft = 2 SH-60's (contained in hanger)

FFG-29 USS Stephen W. Groves = [7 of 187 = 180 Survivors]
Sailors = 7

While returning to the carrier task force, the three remaining ships were attacked by aircraft, which were not identified due to the range they engaged from. Several rockets hit close to the ships, but none were successful. The three ships returned to the carrier fleet where the survivors were treated.

The GPEO has since failed to assault the RSB in retaliatory action. The primary cause could be a lack of able pilots.

This is the news article I was thinking of posting. Is it legit enough to post in the mainstream ITTN, or are there any inaccurate details ?

Basically, to put things simple:

RSB does strike missions every day or every other day or something, for a long time over a targeted area. After enough times are accumulated, GPEO (or UIA) provides Intel to pilots, and they do the rest, and try to set an ambush for RSB attackers

Shorter version:
RSB, do random strike ops across the Red Sea.
GPEO/FAF, notice attacks, respond with fighters.

An African type profile will make a post on here in ITTN declaring the need for air superiority assistance. The following day, a news article will be posted.

News Article may look something like this:

"RSB attack aircraft have been striking civilian targets in Ethiopia. Ethiopia has no active air power to combat this threat, and have reached out to surrounding nations and military organizations for help."

This may influence members of FAF and GPEO to respond to the need for help, especially if they see images on FS-Open showing the attack routes, dates and times of when the ops normally take place, etc.

The first op GPEO/FAF conduct should favor them, which would be putting an end to RSB strikes on civilian targets. RSB could then move to more highly immoral targets, like villages known for hunger issues, toward the South of Ethiopia. RSB can publicly announce for those who they attack to join the Red Sea Brotherhood, and serve under hardcore Islamic rule, or die as unworthy of life beings too lazy to work to make food. Make it an unreasonable demand. Obviously the folks hungering can't make food because they can't afford to, and don't have the knowledge to, which RSB uses as reason to justify kill them off.
